TradeName : AQUAMET NASAL SPRAY, AZELAST, BECLATE AQUANASE, BETNESOL-N-NASAL, CROMAL, DUONASE, ECONASE, FLOMIST, IPRANASE-AQ, RHINOCORT NASAL SPRAY.

Why it is prescribed
(Indications) : Mild cases of nasal allergy are controlled by oral antihistamines. Corticosteroids, cromoglycate are used if symptoms persist.

When it is to be taken : Prpphylaxis and treatment of allergic rhinitis. May be given to treat associated anosmia.

Special Instruction :
Avoid in the presence of untreated nasal infections. Avoid after nasal surgery till healing has occurred. Pulmonary Tuberculosis.

Side Effects :
Dryness, irritation of nose and throat, epistaxis and rarely ulceration. Hypersensitivity reactions.
