Why it is prescribed
(Indications) : It is an antifungal antibiotic used in the treatment of Blepharitis,Conjunctivitis and Keratitis.

When it is to be taken : It is generally used several times a day for 2-3 weeks.

How it should be taken : It is available as eye-drops.1 drop is instilled at a time.

Special Instruction :
To be used with caution in pregnancy,lactation,chlidren and elderly people.The doctor should be informed about other medications and pre-existing diseases.

Side Effects :
Itching and rarely nephroxicity.

Other Precautions :
Contraindicated in hypersensitivity.

Storage Conditions :
Store in a cool place. The drops should be used within one month after opening.
