Generic Name : Aldesleukin

Why it is prescribed (Indications) : It is a man made protein.It acts similar to that of human interleukin 2.
When it is to be taken : The medication should be given as iv infusion over a 15 minutes period 3 times aday.
How it should be taken : It comes in the form of 22 million IU of aldesleukin as lyophilised powder with diluent.
Special Instruction :
Should be given in hospital settings.use with extreme caution in patients with heart or lung problems.
Side Effects :
Fever,chillness,itching,stomach upset,dryskin,diarrhea,headache,dizziness and depression.
Other Precautions :
Not recommended in pregnancy and lactation.
Storage Conditions :
store at 2-8 degree centigrade.
