Why it is prescribed (Indications) : This drug inhibits the central cholergenic excess due to Dopamine
deficiency and is used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and drug induced extrapyramidal syndrome

When it is to be taken :  150mg daily in divided doses increased by 50mg every 2-3 days.Maintenance dose of 150-300mg daily.

How it should be taken : Taken orally as tablets.

Special Instruction :
To be used wirh caution in elderly people,pregnancy and lactation.

Side Effects :
Dizziness,weakness,Gastrointestinal symptoms,urinary retention,blurred vision.

Other Precautions :
Contraindicated in glaucoma,prostatic hypertrophy and pyloric stenosis.
