Why it is prescribed (Indications) : This medication is used as a short-term aid to weight loss, and to help control ADHD in children.

When it is to be taken : The dosage is as prescribed by the doctor.

How it should be taken : The drug is to be taken orally.

Special Instruction :
To be used with caution in diabetes, hypertension, thyroid imbalance, cardiac problems, glaucoma and history of drug abuse. The drug is habit forming. To be used very cautiously in pregnancy and lactation.

Side Effects :
Dry mouth, nausea,constipation, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness are the common side effects. other serious ones are - sexual impairment, suppressed growth in children, loss of muscle control. If these symotoms occur, the doctor should be informed. Avoid driving and alcohol intake.

Other Precautions :
Contraindicated in hypersensitivity.

Storage Conditions :
Store at room temperature between 15 to 30 degrees C away from light and moisture.
