Why it is prescribed
(Indications) : It is a sodium salt of fusidic acid.It is steroidal antibiotic with bacteriostatic or bacteriocidal activity mainly against gram positive bacteria by inhibiting protein synthesis.

When it is to be taken : Apply on infected areas 2-3 times daily.

How it should be taken
: It comes as 5/10 gram ointment or cream.

Special Instruction :
Avoid using the drug in case of hypersensitivity to fusidates.

Side Effects :

Rashes and irritation are the common side effects of this drug.

Other Precautions :
use with caution in the case of pregnancy and old age.Contraindicated in the case of lactation.

Storage Conditions :
store at room temperature.
