Generic Name : Keratolac Trometamol Ophthalmic

TradeName : Acular,Ked T-Lac,Ketodrops.

Why it is prescribed (Indications) : It is a Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drug with analgesic effect.It is used in the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis and in the prevention and treatment of post operative inflammation.It reduces edema,pain and photophobia.

When it is to be taken : 1 drop in the affected eye for 2 weeks or as per doctor's instructions.

How it should be taken
: It is available as eye drops.

Special Instruction :
To be used with caution in elderly people,heart failure,renal and hepatic impairment.

Side Effects :
Headache,dizziness,stinging,local irritation..

Other Precautions :

Contraindicated in pregnancy,lactation,patients with nasal polyps or with risk of haemorrhage.

Storage Conditions :
Store in cool place away from light.The drops should not be used after one month from opening.
