Why it is prescribed (Indications) : This medication is prescribed for an enlarged prostate treatment. It blocks the production of a natural substance that enlarges the prostate and reduces the need for surgery.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications) : Severe liver impairment; pregnant women, children, adolescent.

When it is to be taken : Adult: 500 mcg daily (treatment for 6 month may be required before benefit is obtained).

How it should be taken : It comes as a capsule to take by mouth, with or without food.

Special Instruction :
* tell your doctor if you have or have ever had liver disease or prostate cancer. * This drug only for men.*touching the contents of the capsules by pregnant female may harm the fetus. Avoid touching the medication directly, if it does so wash properly.

Side Effects :
Genitourinary:
Impotence, decreased libido, ejaculation disorders, breast tenderness, and enlargement.

Other Precautions :
Monitor patients with large residual urine volume.

Storage Conditions :
Oral: Store at 25°C.Store it in airtight container.
